QUEEN FOR A DAY

The Grace Hotel Sydney was the venue for our "Queen for a Day" Luncheon on Tuesday June 29.
Sixty five gorgeous ladies enjoyed a wonderful buffet luncheon - I don't think anyone was able to resist trying many of the desserts!!
The Fashion Parade proved a hit with so many variations to the "Queen" theme - we had the Queen's furs, pearls, tiaras, diamonds, jewels, corgis, Chelsea Flower show hats, sashes, walking shoes, raincoat, brooches and rings.
We put most of the other diners to shame in the restaurant - they obviously all felt under - dressed as they shared their lunch with royalty!!
Margaret was a worthy winner of best dressed and Vicki was the most original runner up.
Well done Nanette on winning the raffle and to all the other raffle winners - well done.
Thank you to everyone who supported the day - you are what makes a terrific function - and helped raise funds for our little pre-school children in Sri Lanka for our Project of the Year.
