What does being a member of CWL Sydney involve?
We have 10 different CWL Sydney branches you can join, as well as Diocesan membership.
Branch members support their local parishes, organise their own events and fundraisers, choose the groups and charities they would like to support as a branch, and meet monthly to discuss ideas and share news. Branches also support the CWL Sydney Project of the Year.
Diocesan members stay in touch through our bimonthly newsletter Inform, as well as State and National newsletters. Many Diocesan members participate in different events hosted by the branches and Archdiocese.
All members are invited to attend our monthly gatherings at 141 Harrington Street The Rocks. Here, we host lunches and fundraisers, organise guest speakers and entertainment, and provide news and information to our members. Our branch gatherings are always a fun event, often with a theme, and are a great opportunity to catch up with friends, find out what other branches have been doing, and raise much needed funds for our projects.
